Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is certainly one of the finest cricketers ever and his contribution to the gentlemen’s game isn’t second to many. Riding on his prowess, Team India won numerous series and tournaments including three ICC trophies. Dhoni’s on-field heroics also earned him a massive fan following over the years with many cricketers dreaming to replicate his brilliance over the 22 yards. Besides cricket, however, the wicketkeeper-batsman also has some other attributes which make him a fan favorite.

Despite being one of the most popular cricket stars going around, Dhoni is known for his humble nature and many people have appreciated his grounded personality. Veteran Indian film director and celebrated choreographer Farah Khan is the latest to do so. Taking to Instagram, Farah shared a picture with Dhoni from an ad shoot. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper was all smiles in the snap and Farah had some praises to lavish on him.

Needless to mention the comment section got flooded in no time as MSD fans were overwhelmed by the post.

Notably, Dhoni was sporting Team India’s current retro jersey in the snap and this is another reason why the picture got viral in a jiffy. Bollywood star Ranveer Singh was also among many to shower love in the comment section. “He is the best,” the Padmaavat actor wrote alongside a heart-eyes emoji.

Meanwhile, Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in August 2020, was last seen in the now-postponed Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. With the gala tournament set to resume on September 19, fans have marked their calendars to see Dhoni back in action. Notably, CSK enjoyed a stellar run in the first half, winning five of their seven games.

Although Dhoni wasn’t at his best with the bat, his glovework and on-field decisions were précised as ever. Hence, it would be interesting to see how the talismanic cricketer performs in the remaining competition.
