Mickey Arthur talks about Dushmantha Chameera’s workload

Stating that it is nice to think of resting Chameera, Arthur revealed that he told Chameera that he still has just 12 overs to be bowled, and he can take rest for three weeks. Arthur concluded by stating that Chameera has been the spearhead of the Sri Lankan side with the ball in hand.

“It would be nice to think of a rest. I said to him last night, he has got 12 overs to go. 12 overs to go and he can have three weeks off. So, I am hoping that we can get 12 overs out of him, and then he can have a well-deserved break. He has been our spearhead and he has taken that responsibility and run with that responsibility and been extremely good with it,” concluded Arthur.
