Preview

The T20I series between Pakistan and West Indies have been a damp squib thus far. Out of three games, two matches were washed off. In the previous game, a mere 1.2 overs were possible after which rain interrupted proceedings.

It also took away the Caribbean team’s chance of winning the T20I series. The fourth and final game of the series is set to take place on Tuesday, August 3. Pakistan, having won the second game, are leading the series 1-0.

Babar Azam and Co. had a torrid time on their tour of England and they will be looking to get past the West Indies before the Test series gets underway.

Probable best batsman of the match

Babar Azam– Pakistan

Babar Azam has been a fulcrum of Pakistan batting in the last five years or so. He knows the art of taking responsibility and takes calculated risks in his knocks. In the second game, he scored a priceless half-century and helped his team to a competitive total. The 26-year-old Lahore-born will be looking to replicate something similar even next time around.

Probable best bowler of the match

Hayden Walsh Jr- West Indies

Hayden Walsh Jr has been a revelation for the West Indies in ODIs and T20Is. In the last 30 days or so, he has been amongst the wickets. He picked up 11 wickets against Australia and went away with the Player of the Series. In the second T20I against Pakistan, he couldn’t get a wicket, but he didn’t allow the opposition batters to run away with the game.
