Friendship Day is being celebrated across the whole world on Sunday (August 1). Even the cricketing fraternity is not behind in wishing their teammates and followers on the special day dedicated to friendship. Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh came up with a special video reminiscing his playing days terming his teammates as ‘friends that became family.’

Yuvraj made his international debut in October 2000 and was part of the line-up that had the fabulous players like Harbhajan Singh, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble among many others. It is still termed as the golden era of the Indian cricket when the team also qualified for the final of the World Cup in 2003 and were the joint-winners along with Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy prior to that.

Yuvraj Singh played a vital role in the team and was part of some memorable wins as memories were created in the dressing room. Recalling all those moments on the occasion of the Friendship Day, he posted a video on his official Twitter handle. The video had all the funny moments spent with his teammates over all those years.

Here’s the video

Fans point out Yuvraj Singh skipped Kohli and Dhoni in the video

After the legends of Indian cricket slowly retired, Yuvraj Singh had close relations with the next captains of the Indian team, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. He even made a stunning comeback after recovering from cancer and played the T20 World Cup in 2014. He enjoyed playing with Dhoni and both of them were extremely good friends on and off the field when he was playing.

However, in his Friendship Day video, Yuvraj Singh didn’t post any funny moment with both Dhoni and Kohli and the fans were quick to spot that. No wonder, they were disappointed with the southpaw and came up with reactions on social media. Some of the fans reminded him that both Dhoni and Virat Kohli supported him during the tough times of his career while few outrightly expressed their disappointment.

It remains to be seen if Yuvraj Singh comes up with any explanation over the same after the outrage of the fans on social media.

Here are some of the reactions of the fans:
