Australia cricketer David Warner has played a lot of memorable innings in his career. He has scored 24 centuries in Tests, 18 in ODIs and 1 in the shortest format after playing close to 300 matches at the international level. However, among all the innings, he has picked his triple century in the Adelaide Test against Pakistan as his favourite innings.

Warner is very much active on social media nowadays. He keeps on engaging with the fans with his interesting posts, especially on Instagram. Ever since the lockdown due to COVID-19 last year, he has been coming up with entertaining videos and even has increased his fanbase especially in India.

He is currently enjoying a break from the sport having pulled out of Australia’s West Indies and Bangladesh tours. Over the course of the weekend, he decided to interact with the fans on Instagram through a Q&A session. He was, as expected, bombarded with a lot of questions and among them, one was about his favourite knock of his career.

Responding to the question, he picked his mammoth 335-run knock against Pakistan in Adelaide. He was batting so well that many had backed David Warner to even cross the 400-run mark. However, the skipper Tim Paine declared the innings in order to give enough time to his bowlers to win the game.

Talking about his innings, Warner termed it as a special moment. “Very hard to say one inning but to get a triple-century in Adelaide was a very special moment and probably one of the most patient innings I’ve had in my life,” Warner wrote in his Instagram story.

David Warner’s memorable knock

Going into the Test match against Pakistan, David Warner was under pressure to perform. But soon he started to hit the ball well and ended up playing arugably the best innings of his career. He smashed an unbeaten 335 off just 418 balls as Australia amassed a huge total of 587/3 in only 127 overs. Pakistan, in response, were bundled out twice for 302 and 239 runs in two innings to lose the match by an innings and 48 runs.
