Former India opening batter Gautam Gambhir is known for keeping things simple and uncomplicated. Be it while leading the side when he was captain for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), or while batting, the southpaw would get the job done most of the times.

Gambhir in Hindi means a (serious person) and he just seems to be one in real life too. He also tends to smile comparatively less when he manages to pose in front of the camera too. He is in the news this time because he posted a picture of himself on his official Instagram account. In the latest photo posted by Gambhir, the southpaw is seen standing by the sea with a stoic expression.

Gambhir added a caption too to the post, “No one can be you. That’s what makes you special.” As soon as the post went viral, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh made sure to comment on this point and quickly wrote a sarcastic comment stating, “GG, photo mai toh smile karde (Gautam Gambhir, at least smile in the photos)”.

Apart from Yuvraj, several of Gambhir’s fans posted comments on his cool picture, wherein he was seen in a comfortable shirt and linen pants. The latter was also quick to respond to his former teammate stating that it is not easy to smile while standing at the edge of the ocean.

Recently, he shared an image while he was playing a Test match for India. In the image, we can see the southpaw looking a bit awkward after dropping a catch. But the caption he gave to the post made people laugh at, as he wrote, “Couldn’t take the catch but cameras caught the best expression.”
