After the T20I series against South Africa and Australia, West Indies are set to face Pakistan in a four-match series in the 20-over format. Having won six out of their last 10 T20Is, the Caribbean team is high on confidence.

The hosts also beat the Aaron Finch-led Australia 4-1 in the five-match series. Kieron Pollard and Co sealed the fate of the series, taking a 3-0 lead. West Indies might not be in the top half of the ICC rankings, but with some of their big names back, they look like a formidable unit.

With the T20 World Cup approaching, the Caribbean team looks like a power-packed unit without a doubt. Pakistan, on the other hand, are coming off a 1-2 series defeat at the hands of England.

After winning the opening T20I at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham, they lost the other two games. As far as the first T20I versus the hosts are concerned, the pitch won’t be an easy one for batting by any means.
