Pakistan have won all the four T20I bilateral series they have played against West Indies.

Keeping in mind the T20 World Cup, most of the teams are playing series in this format at present. West Indies and Pakistan will face in the 4-match T20 series starting July 28. The hosts West Indies would like to carry their form after winning 4-1 in the home T20 series against Australia. On the other hand, Pakistan would like to forget the defeat in the ODI and T20I series on the England tour and get the winning momentum before the World Cup.

Let’s look at all the important records and upcoming milestones before the start of the T20I series between West Indies and Pakistan:

Head to Head: Both teams have played 14 T20Is till now, and Pakistan have been quite dominant winning 11 of those matches. West Indies have been able to register just three victories.

4 – Pakistan have won all the last 4 T20Is they have played against West Indies.

0 – West Indies are yet to win a bilateral T20I series against Pakistan. Both sides have taken part in 4 bilateral T20I series, and all have been won by the Pakistan team.

43 – Mohammad Rizwan has been in excellent form in T20Is this year. He has scored 706 runs in 13 innings at an incredible average of 100.85 and a strike rate of 140.91. He needs to score 43 more runs to break the record for most T20I runs in a calendar year. Currently, Paul Stirling of Ireland is at the top spot with 748 runs scored in 2019.

1 – Obed McCoy has been the most successful T20I bowler for West Indies this year. He has taken 18 wickets in 10 games at an average of 14.66. He needs 2 more wickets to claim the record for most T20I wickets for West Indies in a calendar year. Spinner Samuel Badree holds the record with 19 wickets in T20Is in 2014.

9 – Kieron Pollard has so far hit 91 sixes in his T20I career. He needs 9 more sixes to become the third West Indies player after Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis to complete 100 T20I sixes.

2 – Chris Gayle has 548 sixes to his name in international cricket and is only 2 maximums away from reaching the 550-mark.

182 – Chris Gayle has scored 1818 T20I runs till now and is 182 runs away from completing 2000 runs. He will become the first West Indies player to reach the landmark.

1 – Lendl Simmons is 1 run away from completing 1500 T20I runs.

35 – Kieron Pollard is 35 runs away from completing 4000 runs in international cricket.

5 – Hasan Ali has picked up 195 wickets in his international career and is 5 scalps away from reaching 200-mark.

8 – Shaheen Afridi is 8 wickets away from completing 150 wickets across formats.

137 – Babar Azam is 137 runs away from completing 1000 T20I runs as a captain. He will become the first Pakistan skipper to achieve the milestone.
